I Initially came to San Francisco for my postgraduate studies and then decided to stay an additional two years only because I’d fallen in love with this amazing city…

San Francisco is a densely populated and diverse city with SO much to do and see.

Take a boat ride from one of the piers and explore for the day!
Things to do
– Bike Cycle across the Golden gate bridge
– Walk along the Embarcadero
– Take a Ferry ride to Sausalito, Alcatraz Island tour (Preferably at night so you don’t miss out on the amazing views)
– Visit the various unique neighbourhoods in the city (recommended: Little Italy, China town, Union square, Japan town, Mission, Soma and the Fisherman’s wharf)
– Check out the exploratorium, Coit tower, Ghirardelli square, Palace of fine arts theatre, Lands end and the lovely view of the city from Twin peaks.
– Be sure to check out both Dolores park and Golden gate park on the weekends.

 If you’re a baseball fan, going to AT&T park is a must as well.

The tenderloin neighbourhood can be pretty rough.
Travel tip: Always have a jacket or sweater on you.
